STAFF PROFILE

Uriah is the Television Production Coordinator for Digital Learning and Media Design at ������ University. Uriah received an Associate Degree in Broadcast Journalism at Lincoln College, B.A. in Communications, and M.F.A in Independent Filmmaking and Digital Imaging from ������ University. During his time at ������he has exceled and climbed the production ladder.

He worked as a Production Assistant on several productions, was hired full time as a Media Specialist, promoted to Television Producer – Director, and now promoted to his current role. Uriah also taught production courses for the Media Studies Program for about 3 years.

“Sweet Home Chicago Blues: 50 Years of Alligator Records” (Producer/Director/Editor), National Endowment for the Humanities grant-funded production "Veterans Speak: War, Trauma, and the Humanities" (Editor), "Respond to Violence: The Impact of Mental Health” (Technical Director/Assistant Editor), “Respond to Violence: Interpersonal Trauma” (Technical Director/Editor), “Respond to Violence: Gun Trauma”(Technical Director/ Editor), and “Beloved Community Civil Rights Tour” (Producer).

He also mentor’s student workers in the Digital Learning and Media Design department. Uriah truly loves ������ University. Uriah has a deep passion for film and admires the art behind creating independent films.
