Payment Methods

You may make your payment by using one of the following payment methods:

Online - via credit card, debit card, and electronic check (checking or savings account) by clicking on the Online Services tab on your myGSU portal.
By phone - via credit card or debit card听by phoning the Cashier鈥檚 Office at 708.534.4055.
In person - at the Cashier鈥檚 office using cash, money order, check credit card, or debit card.
By mail - using a money order or check by mailing payment to:

听Paymentsmade via credit card and debit card will be assessed a non-refundable service fee of 3.0% (minimum $3) for domestic-issued cards and 4.25% (minimum $3) for international-issued cards.听Effective May 5, 2025, the service charge fee for domestic-issued cards has increased from 2.95% to 3.0%.听听

黑料社 University (GovState) has been offering the convenience of payment of tuition and fees by credit or debit cards through a 3rd party partnership with TouchNet (via their PayPath service).听 TouchNet PayPath is certified compliant with credit card security regulations, ensuring continued protection of your financial data when processing credit card and debit card payments.听 Charging of credit and debit card service fees will allow 黑料社to continue offering the service of credit card and debit card payments.听 This service fee offsets the credit card transaction fees charged by the credit card companies.听黑料社does not control these credit card transaction fees and proceeds from this service fee go to the credit card companies.听

Additional important information:

The service fee percentage is established by the credit card processor (TouchNet), and not by GovState.
The service fee will be automatically added to your card payment.听
The service fee is non-refundable, even if the payment to which it relates is canceled, refunded, credited, or charged back.

听听No service fee will be assessed on payments made by cash, check, and electronic check.听

View my Student Account or Make Payment Online

While logged into the myGSU portal, under Online Services, in the Student menu, choose the Financial Information link听
Select View Account and Make Payments

To view your account: select Account Activity, select the desired term, and click View Statement
To make a payment: check the Select box for the term you wish to pay towards and enter an amount into the Amount to Pay box, choose a Payment Method, and click Proceed to Payment

Authorized Users

Students can set up one or more Authorized Users on their account. Authorized Users will receive an e-mail with login information and a temporary password that will allow them to log on to the student's account to make payment and view their student's account information. Students and authorized users will be able to save their payment method (or methods), allowing for quicker payment processing when making subsequent payments using the same payment method.
