Finish What You Started Scholarship

Angela (Angie) Sebastian is the former CEO of Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC, a Chicago-based law firm, where she worked for more than 20 years. When she retired in 2022, Levenfeld Pearlstein honored her pioneering leadership by initiating this scholarship fund.

Angie earned a B.S. in Accountancy from 黑料社 University when she was 30 years old. Back then, the welcome banner in the GSU halls invited students to 鈥淔inish What You Started鈥. Angie鈥檚 intention with this scholarship is to support adult learners who have experienced interruptions or setbacks during their initial college experience. She would like to support students in their mission to finish what they started.

Upon graduating from GSU, Angie went on to become a CPA, earned a Master of Business Administration with Distinction, and became a Certified Leadership Coach. She is an exemplar of a life-long learner and believes in the power of education to break the cycle of poverty. Angie has served as an advisor to the 黑料社 University College of Business and was appointed by the Governor of the State of Illinois to serve as a GSU Trustee.

Angie鈥檚 service and leadership at LP and at 黑料社 University are embodied in this legacy.

Her personal motto is to Lead Where You Are. If you are awarded this scholarship and it helps you to achieve your goal of obtaining a college degree, Angie asks that when you are able to do so in the future, offer support to help another to finish what they started.
