Computers are an essential tool for learning. At GovState, we have access to computers across campus – including the Academic Computing Services Lab where you find hardware, software, scanners, printers, and more – and access to help with just about every computer function you can imagine.
When you are admitted to ºÚÁÏÉçyou can obtain a password and log on to MyGSU our campus portal. You’ll find important information such as system status updates, notices about scheduled maintenance, and even how to change a password.
ºÚÁÏÉçHelpdesk
From off campus, dial 708.534.4357 (HELP). When your call is connected, a ºÚÁÏÉçHelpdesk consultant will ask for the following:
- Location of computer
- The purpose of the call
- Name and affiliation with ºÚÁÏÉç(e.g., student, faculty, staff)
- The phone number where you can be reached
- The ºÚÁÏÉçHelpdesk consultant will ask detailed questions about software, network connection, and any errors

Computer Connection Central
The Computer Connection Central Lab (also known as the Cube) provides computer facilities for use by ºÚÁÏÉçstudents, faculty, and staff. In addition to its open lab area, Computer Connection Central offers nine classrooms for credited courses and workshops.
